Circus here for a Salamander and Raymond Terrace

27 Jan, 2010 04:58 PM
THE wheel of death, the Russian swing, dancing girls and a clown - the circus is here.

The 12-metre-high Webers Circus tent and its Touch of South America show will be opposite the Salamander Bay Shopping Centre until Sunday.

Then it moves to Raymond Terrace Sportsground from February 4 to 7.

The 20-member Weber team hase had three years on the road perfecting swings, jumps and tumbles, but Natalie said among the show's major draw cards were a clown with a difference and a dog with an incredible bag of tricks.

The Touch of South America has already been a hit in its first week in the Port.

"We sold out our ringside seats in the first night, she said.

"This is a very fast-paced and exciting show, we try and take out all the boring bits.

"While one act is setting up we put another one on to keep everyone's attention."
