Creedence Clearwater Recycled to play in Port

28 Jul, 2010 08:46 AM
TRIBUTE band like no other, Creedence Clearwater Recycled is visiting Port Stephens to play at the Soldiers Point Bowling Club on Saturday.

During the past five years the band has been building a following in Victoria to become one of the four major tribute acts in Victoria.

Now the boys have crossed the state line travelling New South Wales to revive the ever-popular Creedence Clearwater music.

Classic songs such as Green River, Proud Mary, Bad Moon Rising and I Heard It Through the Grape Vine are just a taste of what is to feature in the show.

The band members use their performance to pay homage to John Fogarty, Tom Fogarty, Stu Cook and Doug Clifford who they believe made up one of the most dynamic bands of its time.
