ALL greens at the Horizons should be in use next month and fears about the resort's future are unwarranted, its director of golf Greg Ramsey says.
The course is in the throws of a $40,000 renovation to its greens, which has forced the use of temporary surfaces on six holes.
For legal reasons Mr Ramsey said he could not comment on reports that Yamaha had repossessed the resort's fleet of golf cars, prompting him to lease more cars in his own name.
But he did move to assure members and the public that the resort's Korean-based owner Le Mielleur had not given up on Horizons, its first Australian investment.
"Le Mielleur has made it very clear that this resort is not for sale, that has come from head office," he said.
Mr Ramsey did concede that the quality of fairways had fallen below expectations after long periods without rain.
