Karen O'Shea to play Tilligerry RSL

23 Jun, 2010 09:21 AM
SHE impressed crowds at the Blue Water Country Music festival and now Karen O’Shea is performing at Tilligerry RSL on Saturday.

With a professional singing career of more than 12 years O’Shea is used to the stage.

She has supported some of music’s greats including James Morrison, Christine Anu and Jimmy Barnes.

Jazz, rock, pop and funk all have a place in her repertoire and her country talents have previously won her the Frank Ifield International Spur Award for Best New Female Performer

O’Shea began her music career after finishing school and has since played with numerous bands, such as The Sublimes, before choosing a solo path.

See the well-rehearsed singer at Tilligerry RSL on Saturday.
