DEMANDING fans have caused Newcastle’s The Brewery to open the flood gates and sell extra tickets for the
Katie Noonan and The Captains concert on July 8.

Katie Noonan is a veteran in the music industry starting her career at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music.
Since then she has become known for her leading vocals in the band George and has won multiple ARIA awards.
She has floated through genres of pop, rock, jazz and now with the release of her new album Emperor’s Box she has moved into heartfelt song writing personally penning every track on the album.
Her new band mates The Captains have joined her endeavours and Noonan called on many artists to collaborate.
The Captains features Cameron Deyell on the guitar, keyboardist and bass player Stu Hunter, while drums are manned by Declan Kelly.
Together they will be performing at The Brewery bringing the charm of the new album alive.
Crowds will be hearing the creative ideas of Tim Finn and Sia Furler, the input of Cold Chisel’s Don Walker, pop sensation Josh Pyke and Australian poet Tom Shapcott who all collaborated on the album.
