Nelson Bay CBD volunteers sought

10 Mar, 2010 10:43 AM
VOLUNTEERS with a keen interest in community work are being sought by the Nelson Bay Town Management group to help with upcoming events and promotions.

Town coordinator Marian Sampson said anyone from retirees to people looking for something to add to their resume should apply as there were a range of roles on offer.

"We're really looking to develop a team that will work on a variety of things," Ms Sampson said.

"We have the Blue Water Country Music Festival coming up so we'll need a few people to help out with that.

"It's a really good opportunity for people looking for work as well.

Residents interested can contact Mrs Sampson at the Bay office on 4984 4751.
