New depths to learning

10 Mar, 2010 10:31 AM
BOBS Farm Public students took learning to new depths when they delved into the waters off Fly Point at Nelson Bay to discover marine life.

The students took part in a day that included snorkelling and a visit to the Department of Fisheries at Taylors Beach as part of a unit of work called Get Hooked - It's Fun to Fish. As part of the program students learnt about marine parks and also took part in a fishing trip to Nelson Bay marina with Examiner fishing writer John 'Stinker' Clarke.
