School holiday fun in Port Stephens

WITH the school holidays in sight there are plenty of children’s activities coming up in Port Stephens.

Tilligerry RSL has their Tikes Junior Disco on Saturday starting at 5.30pm.

The kids can dance and bop at the disco or investigate the outdoor contained play equipment.

The whole family can enjoy a night out at the family trivia night on July 10, also at Tilligerry RSL.

To celebrate the year of the Tiger Western Plains Zoo is inviting one lucky Port family to visit Indah a sumatran tiger new to the zoo.

Each Monday through to Thursday during the school holidays the Sandyfoot Café is screening free movies.

Starting at 10.30am movies such as Ice Age 3, Where the Wild Things Are, UP and Astro Boy will be playing.

It’s Christmas in July at Dizzyland during the school holidays.

Anyone who purchases an unlimited ride armband can have breakfast with Mrs Claus from 10am.

At 1pm Mrs Claus, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Mr Dizzy are joining forces to put on a dancing and singing extravaganza.

Salamander Bay Shopping Centre is holding Plaster Master workshops from July 5 for arty children.

Kids can make and paint models with a small fee to take them home.
