Terrace schools' technicolour theatre production

28 Jul, 2010 12:00 AM
JOSEPH and his technicolour dreamcoat are the stars in three vividly-musical performances now underway.

To ease the transition for students moving from primary to high school, Irrawang Public has joined forces with its feeder schools to put on the production.

The high school along with Irrawang, Grahamstown, Medowie and Wirreanda schools, has been working on the musical Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat since Easter.

According to transition coordinator Adele Robinson the musical has given the students a chance to make new friends before they reach year seven and a chance to familiarise themselves with the school. Auditions were held to pick the participants and the schools worked together for set and costume design. "We chose the production because it was written for middle school children," she said.
