THE annual Wallaroo Fun Run is set to go for another year.
This year's event will be held on Sunday, May 17 starting with the 10km run at 10.30am, 6km at noon and 2km at 1.30pm.
The run takes competitors along fire trails and through the tranquil Wallaroo Forest setting.
A school challenge will also be held with a trophy and medal for the fastest school team in the 2km event.
There are also categories in the 2km available for open teams and parent and child teams.
No competitor will go home empty handed as there are many opportunities to come away with a trophy or medal. Certificates of achievement will be presented to all competitors.
Anyone looking for the event will find it located on the Pacific Highway 12km north of Raymond Terrace with the entrance at Nine Mile Creek Road 600m south of Medowie Road.
Runners are expected to come from as far as Sydney, the Blue Mountains and Port Macquarie with the ages ranging from 4 years to more than 70 years.
Entry forms can be downloaded from www.raymondterraceathletics.com.a u and those received by close of business Friday, 15th May are entitled to a free sausage sandwich or drink.
Entries on the day will be accepted up to 30 minutes before each run.
Entry fees are $15 adult, $10 for 16 yrs and under $40.00 per family with $5.00 per additional run.
