WIRREANDA Public School has kept the winning tradition alive by taking out yet another gold in the SunHerald City2Surf fun run.
The three-person girls team took out first place collecting their sixth gold in seven years for the event.
The boys took home fourth place.
Each of the six students ran the 14 kilometre Sydney course and were among 75,000 entrants to finish what has now become the world's biggest fun run.
The girls team was made up of Kayley Alsford, Rachael Burr, and Kyah Dawson, all 11.
The school running team trains once a week, but some of the girls were not content to stop there.
"I run seven kilometres every second day so I knew I could make it," Kyah said.
"After the race I didn't have sore legs at all."
From the boys team Joshua Howland, 10, unfortunately did not pull up as fit.
"I'm as sore as," he said.
"And exhausted."
Kayley received the fastest time of all six student, completing the race in 75 minutes 15 seconds.
All children said they were keen to take on the task again next year.
