Future of Raymond Terrace rugby league

04 Nov, 2009 11:44 AM
THE future of senior rugby league at Raymond Terrace is still up in the air and more may be known after a meeting at the Lakeside Tavern on December 7.

It is the annual meeting of the Terrace juniors club and vice president Melanie Hopper said the club desperately needed an injection of volunteers.

The club's plans for next season are to leave the Group 21 competition and enter a senior team in the Newcastle Lower Hunter league with the juniors up to under 18s playing in the NRL.

The juniors club oversees the operation of the seniors after the latters' club folded.
