Over the years the club has won seven pennants, including a number five in 2006.
"The number five represented players who had been playing less than five years and that was a real thrill for them," Mrs Teague said.
The club has also won a number of district championships and the 2001 State Triples competition.
"That was the club's biggest win," Mrs Teague said.
Mrs Teague said the club also payewd a social role.
"It offers companionship, exercise and gets you out in the fresh air," she said.
"Lasting friendships are also made at the club."
The club was also important to women who may have lost a loved one.
