A NEW rugby league team is about to commence in Port Stephens with the formation of the Williamtown Jets RLFC. The Jets will be based at Hexham Oval and have received some sponsorship support from the Hexham Bowling Club.
The club will have an experienced coach in charge with Tony Delany filling the role after several successful seasons with the Kotara Bears.
The club has lined up RAAF players to join the jets in its inaugural season training on Tuesday and Thursdays at Hexham Oval at 6pm.
