BOTH Port Stephens and Nelson Bay Australian rules football clubs will hold registration days later this month and in early February.
Players can sign on for Port Stephens on January 31 between 9am and 1pm at Video Ezy Medowie or February 8 at Raymond Terrace Market Place.
Nelson Bay will hold registration days between 10am and 12pm on January 30 and February 6 and 20 outside Woolworths in Salamander Bay.
Both clubs will hold free come and try days in the coming months.
Port Stephens will hold its come and try day at Ferodale Oval, Medowie on from 4pm to 5.30pm on March 9.
Nelson Bay juniors can get a taste of aussie rules at Dick Burwell Oval, Nelson Bay from 10am to 1.30pm on February 14.
