Golf for charity at Bobs Farm

25 Jan, 2012 12:00 AM
PALMS Golf Course at Bobs Farm is holding a $10,000 hole in one competition to raise funds for children suffering with autism.

The competition, held next sunday January 29, is a two person, best ball contest with prizes for first, second and third overall, with the jackpot on the thirteenth hole.

Entry costs $37 and money raised goes toward the charity Autism Action, run by course manager Les Merrett and wife Judy.

The charity aims to raise money to support speech therapy, occupational therapy, behavioural interventions and life skills for children with autism and related disorders.

The organisation also hopes to set up a respite and training facility to provide services to families with autistic children.

Entry on the day is open to members and non-members and men, women and juniors of all levels are encouraged to enter.

To book contact Palms Golf Course on 49821670 or email palmsgolf@bigpond.com
