THE Nelson Bay Gropers have plenty to play for this Saturday and so do their opponents.
The Gropers are out of the finals race with one game remaining but will play University for the Ben Clarke Memorial Shield. Named in memory of popular and devoted Gropers follower Ben Clarke, the shield goes on the line every time the Students make the trip to Nelson Bay.
The Gropers have not won the shield and first grade coach Darren Stewart will be making that known to his men.
Uni sit fifth on the first grade ladder, four points clear of The Waratahs.
