Nelson Bay soccer final hopes alive

18 Aug, 2010 01:00 AM
NELSON Bay United's finals hopes are alive in all three grades despite winning one from three against University on the weekend.

In first grade the Bay won2-1. In reserve grade the Bay went down 2-1 despite competing fiercely in blustery conditions.

They retain their spot at the top of the ladder.

United struggled throughout their third grade fixture with Peter Lester providing the only goal in a 3-1 loss.

This weekend United go on the road against Cardiff.
