Twenty-two Masters' swimming clubs from throughout NSW have registered to swim at the meet this Saturday.
Masters Swimming encourages all adults, regardless of ability, to swim regularly in order to promote fitness and health in a fun environment.
"The event will attract approximately 200 people to the Tea Gardens Hawks Nest area, many who will spend the weekend in the area," president of Myall Masters Peter Kellaway said.
The carnival also ties in to celebrate Myall Masters Swimming Club's tenth anniversary since forming as a club.
Club members have been working with the Great Lakes Council to have the Tea Gardens Swimming Pool buildings and surrounds presented to the highest standards ahead of the carnival.
If the event meets the standards of the governing body, Masters Swimming NSW, the club will seek approval to add the Myall event to the Masters Swimming's annual event calendar.
Preparation for the carnival has been 12 months in the making and club members are keen to use their newly acquired skills of marshalling and timekeeping at the event.
The Tea Gardens pool will be closed to the public this Saturday but club secretary Rhonda Bobako is encouraging the community to come and watch.
"People are welcome to come down and get a feel of what Myall Masters is about," she said.
