Gai Tooze of Bulahdelah Pre School said the grant should cover the full cost of the bathroom renovations.

"It will be really lovely to have them upgraded," she said.

Work is expected to start on the bathrooms in the Easter holidays.

The preschool, which caters for 20 children three days a week, is slowly being transformed with the help of grant support.

In 2011 the preschool received a $15,000 state government grant which they used to finish the playground.
