The Manning, Forster Tuncurry and Bulahdelah areas had been on level three restrictions up until the weekend, meaning residents were unable to use sprinklers and fixed hoses.
The Manning River has been registering a flow of 3145 million litres per day since Monday, a marked rise on the 273 million recorded on Friday.
Rainfall registered across the Manning catchment ranged from 70 millimetres to 116 millimetres for the weekend.
Decent rain also fell in the Crawford River catchment, relieving the need for restrictions in the Bulahdelah township also.
Residents are reminded that while restrictions have been lifted, the summer water saving program is still in force.
The program encourages residents to use their water wisely and not use water outdoors between 10am and 4pm.
MidCoast Water thanked the community for supporting the restrictions and reducing their outdoor water usage.
