It went up late last month, after the plan had been in the works for several months.
Funding from Tim Barker, Tony Jones, Ken Winterbottom and John Zillani paid for its construction.
"The membership has been very busy erecting a sun shelter for very hot days," Myall Park Croquet Club's Joyce Orvis said.
She thanked those who made the shelter possible.
Orvis said the club provided a "social, low grade exercise sport" particularly for those 60 years and above.
She said more than 50 club members played on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Those who would like to join are invited to turn up at 8.45am for a 9am start on these days.
The next quarterly meeting will be held on Monday, April 14, at 9 am at the croquet courts.
