"Thanks to the work of people associated with the club for the last 25 years, Bulahdelah is already known as a 'soccer town'," club secretary Ben Holt said.

The club offers friendly in-town mixed competitions for children up to the age of 12.

For children aged 13 and above, teams are entered in the football mid-north coast southern division.

Adult players are also welcome to join the club's senior men and women's teams or the men's over-35 side.

Holt said the football club is unique in that it instills a culture of respect in its players.

"We are introducing more of the latest ideas around community development in order to build on the positive atmosphere of the club," Holt said.

"We are taking a strengths-based approach to running the club.

"This aims to ensure everyone involved in the club gets a say and is able to contribute their individual strengths in a positive way."

The club is also unique in that it has adopted Football Federation Australia's coaching curriculum.

The non-compulsory curriculum uses the latest ideas in coaching and guides coaches through what to and how to coach.

"Our coaches will be using this in order to create the most positive experience for all of our players," Holt said.

Registration forms are available from the Bulahdelah town noticeboard and can be returned to the Jack Ireland sporting fields on Saturdays.
