A fund-raising dinner with a Christmas theme will be held at Murray's Brewery from 6.30pm on July 26.
This will be the second year Murray's and the surf lifesaving club have combined forces to raise funds.
Tickets cost $55, and include dinner, dancing, tours, tastings and more, with Murray's donating $15 per ticket back to the club.
"Last year we had about 100 people and raised $1500," the club's Sonya Chamberlain said.
"The money is not allocated to any specific thing; it goes to the club to help with the upkeep of equipment and maintenance costs."
The fund-raiser comes after the recent Hunter Surf Life Saving Awards night where seven Birubi Point lifesavers were awarded a Heroes of the Surf title.
The club's Helen Ratcliffe was also a nominee for Surf Lifesaver of the Year.
Heroes of the Surf
awards recognise outstanding and heroic efforts to keep the public safe in the water.
Ben Freund, Leeanne Dowden, Mark Dowden, Mark Fuller, Jacob Hannery, Jodi Strauss and Colin Strauss were each recognised for the role they played during rescues in December 2013 and January 2014.
Mr Freund played a leading role in each rescue.
In December, he rode a jet-ski from Birubi Point to Boat Harbour to rescue a teenage boy who had fallen into the water and could not get back to shore.
In January, he diffused a potentially life-threatening situation after realising seven swimmers were out of their depth and initiated a rescue.
