Back by popular demand, Hot Chocolate, the band responsible for hits including You Sexy Thing and Every 1's a Winner, will perform their greatest hits on October 15, one year after last appearing on the Wests New Lambton stage.
Hot Chocolate, featuring Tony Connor, Harvey Hinsley, Patrick Olive, Steve "Beast" Ansell, Andy Smith and Kennie Simon, remain one of the most successful bands of all time. Yet, the British band have received little recognition for their contributions to the music industry.
In 1970 Hot Chocolate, with Errol Brown as lead singer, released their first record, Love Is Life.
It was the start of an expansive career for the group, who amassed a total of 30 hits and also became the only group in the United Kingdom to have a hit in the charts for 15 consecutive years.
They were also one of just three acts to have a hit in every year of the 1970s in the UK charts.
Hot Chocolate will perform all their best hits when they appear at Wests New Lambton on Wednesday, October 15.
Tickets, available from ProTicket or by phoning 4935 1200, cost $69.
The Examiner has two double passes to give away to the show.
To win, send your name and contact details in an email titled "Chocolate" to ewatts@fairfaxmedia.com.au. The winners will be notified on October 1.
