For more than 20 years she has been taking her beautifully painted teapots to the Weird and Wonderful Morpeth Tea Party and this year is no exception.
"I just love meeting all the people," Ms Humphreys said. "I sit there and paint and just make it up as I go along."
Ms Humphreys will have a stall selling her hand-painted teapots, teacups and mugs. She will also do live painting demonstrations and take orders from those who want a more specific design.
This year her designs feature waratah flowers, as well as her popular wildflower pattern, kookaburras and little eastern spinebill birds.
Ms Humphreys started painting teapots when she gave one to her daughter-in-law as a present and around the same time her brother worked at the basket shop at Morpeth. He contacted her about the teapot show and she has been going ever since.
Ms Humphreys also paints kitchen and bathroom tiles, glass panels and anything else requested of her.
■ The tea party runs from today to August 31, starting at 10am every day. The event is free and takes place at the Morpeth Gallery on Green Street.
