All eligible students are encouraged to submit an online expression of interest for a ballot to mark the 100th anniversary of the Anzac landings at Gallipoli in Turkey.
The NSW government plans to send 100 students and up to 28 supervising teachers to the official commemorative services at Gallipoli in 2015.
NSW students will join descendants of those who served at Gallipoli, of Australian WWI widows, and the thousands of others who were successful in the national ballot to participate in the ceremonies.
Applications, available from veterans.nsw.gov.au, close at 5pm on August 27.
