Owner Satyendra Singh took on 11 people from Response Services for 40 days of work experience.
Response Services provides support to people with a disability and in this instance on-the-job training.
Of the 11 people, nine finished the program which is a great result, Jonathon Quartly from Response says.
"It can be hard to find places to supply work placement, especially independent placement," Mr Quartly said.
"It gives them an opportunity to get into a routine and feel independent and capable.
"Plus over half of them want to come back here and work again."
Mr Singh plans to take one of the trainees on as an employee and was really happy with the work experience program.
He is the first Caltex owner in Australia to work with Response and he hopes other business owners will follow.
