Father-daughter rally duo Dave Wilson and Kaylie-Rose Newell left for Coffs Harbour on Monday where they will drive in the Australian leg of the 13-nation FIA World Rally Championship.
When asked whether he was feeling any pressure before he left, Wilson gave a definitive "no".
"We're just going rallying," he said.
Wilson and 21-year-old daughter Newell took up rally car racing together last year.
Wilson drives the white and yellow Toyota Corolla, a front-wheel-drive, while Newell navigates.
This year the pair have performed well together, taking out a first place in the front-wheel-drive section of the Bulahdelah and Batemans Bay rallies and second at Coopernook.
Coffs Harbour was all about fun, Wilson said.
"I'm not even worried how we go," he said.
"We're going up there to have fun and do a round of the world championship course.
"And doing that with one of my kids, that's what matters."
The three-day rally, starting Friday and ending Sunday, is a 200-kilometre course through forest.
