Ms Casumavo from Medowie was one of thousands who voted for a business in this year's awards and on the same slip entered the draw to win a television.

Out of more than 14,000 voting forms Examiner staff dumped on to the stage at the awards night at Nelson Bay Diggers on September 3, it was Ms Casumavo's form which was chosen. She has won a Sony 50-inch LCD three-dimensional smart television.

It took several weeks last year to track down the voter winner of the Annual Business Awards television with Stephen Seabury from Salamander Bay missing in action. It turned out Mr Seabury was in Sydney when we were calling him.

In the end a neighbour across the road contacted his sister Michelle, who then rang his father Ken who informed Stephen of the win.

Let's hope this year it only takes one phone call.
