A large variety of food, wine and beer stalls will make an appearance at this year's weekend event, as well as an array of markets, music and children's activities.
Tastes at the Bay is the flagship event for Nelson Bay and Districts Business Chamber, aimed at attracting business to the peninsula. Annually, the event draws 40,000 people across the two days.
Mothership Events has organised Tastes at the Bay on behalf of the chamber.
"The main reason in holding events like these is to bring tourism and business to the area and increase local business turnover," Brent Lean from Mothership Events said.
"We have focused on pulling together a really strong event, which will hopefully achieve that outcome."
Three musical acts are to play at d'Albora Marinas, the foreshore and Stockton Street stage across the weekend. There will also be an aerobatic air show over the marina on Sunday.
A Kids' Zone is to be set up along the foreshore which will offer African drumming workshops.
There will be cooking demonstrations, including oyster shucking, village dining at a food bazaar and produce stalls.
Tastes at the Bay runs November 1 and 2, from 10am to 4pm.
