Stonebridge Property Group, a Sydney-based commercial real estate agency, kicked off the resort's sale campaign last week on behalf of receivers Grant Thornton Australia.
Expression of interest for the 4.13 hectare property at 74-84 Gan Gan Road, Anna Bay, close on November 12.
The four-week sale campaign will be handled by Stonebridge Property Group agents Angus Macintosh and Lincoln Blackledge.
Mr Macintosh said the property, while it provided a rare opportunity for developers and investors, was tough to value and therefore did not have an asking price.
Instead the agency would be seeking a "fair market value" for the entire property.
The site had already been approved to have 198 tourist units constructed on it, however is touted to "also suit alternative uses", according Stonebridge's website profile on the property.
"The substantial land area of 4.13ha (approximately) may also lend itself to alternate uses subject to council approval," Mr Blackledge said.
The sale comes just weeks after the resort was hit with a fresh spate of vandalism.
Graffiti tags have been freshly sprayed across the site.
Andrew Sallway from receivership company Grant Thornton Australia said Swan's Security Alarms and Guards were still employed to patrol the site.
He said guards were not on site full time.
