The popular track will be closed until November 21, weather permitting, for the National Parks and Wildlife Service to complete laying an anti-slip surface on the track.

Anti-slip surface was laid along sections of the track in July.

The trial of the surface was deemed a success and it will be laid the entire length of the walk.

The main entrance to Tomaree Head will be temporarily closed while works are being undertaken.

Those wishing to walk the track can access it through Tomaree Lodge.
