It has saved the equivalent amount of energy to a car driving a whopping 1 million kilometres.
This also equates to 200 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
"It is a very good result," bowling club manager Simon Lack said.
In December 2012 the club forked out $240,000 for 400 panels to be installed on the roof of the building.
"The environment has always been a hot topic so it did come into our decision, but we also wanted to get electricity bills down," Mr Lack said.
The panels have been so successful the club is having a new system installed, which is estimated to cut the electricity bill by half.
Members of the club are even kept up-to-date with the energy savings thanks to a clever online system, which tracks the performance and shows the results on display screens around the building.
