The club received financial help from Port Stephens Council, NSW Cricket and several businesses to raise the $30,000 needed for the new nets.
The nets were opened on November 8 with club patron and former local council president Bob Freeman doing the honours.
Port Stephens councillor Ken Jordan attended as well as Neil McDonald from NSW Cricket.
Club president Rob Adams said the old nets at Brandon Park needed repair.
"The old nets were in bad shape," he said.
"We needed new ones, especially so we can promote the juniors and the seniors."
It took about 12 months to get the new nets organised and installed and now club members can get back to practice.
This year the Seaham seniors team are sitting at the top of the board in the Maitland Association competition.
The club has an under-12s team, a combined under-15s side with Thornton and about 15 young "Milos".
"Now that we have the new nets, we are free to enjoy and have a successful season," Adams said.
