The Australian hip hop duo, made up of Solo and Adit, is from Sydney's inner west.
Together with Spit Syndicate, Jackie Onassis and Joyride, Horrorshow are members of the One Day hip hop crew.
Stripping back the roaring bass Horrorshow are usually known for, the duo's latest tour, Listen Close, focuses on the core of the songs: the flows, the instrumentation and the singing.
The Listen Close tour comes off the back of a couple of crazy years, including their albums King Amongst Many and One Day's Mainline peaking back-to-back at number two on the ARIA chart.
Add to that a Triple J award, ARIA award nominations, a series of tours and festivals plus a huge show at the Enmore Theatre celebrating the One Day album - the boys have been busy.
Horrorshow will perform at The Cambridge Hotel on March 13.
Special guests on the Listen Close tour are beatbox and vocal sensation Tom Thum and Tuka from Thundamentals.
Tickets to see Horrorshow in Newcastle, available from bigtix.com.au, cost $33.80.
The Examiner has one double pass to the show, which starts at 8pm.
To win this pass, send your name and contact details in an email, subject Horror, to ewatts@fairfaxmedia.com.au.
The winner will be notified by 5pm on Wednesday, March 11.
