Mrs Nolan, from Medowie, will take part in the Cancer Council's latest fund-raising initiative, the Stars of Newcastle.
"I am up against some big personalities and stars of Newcastle," the mum of two said.
"Lara from The Block, Sarge from NewFM, Natasha Beyersdorf from NBN News and Jaimie Abbott."
All up 10 community leaders will raise funds for the Cancer Council and dance at a gala night on May 1.
Mrs Nolan, who has worked at The Varley Group in Tomago for five years as its health, safety and environment advisor, was selected as her employer's fundraising "champion".
She said Stars of Newcastle had already changed her shy approach to life with having to throw herself into dance lessons and raising money.
That and knowing she would have to dance in front of hundreds of people at the gala night.
