The trio, who played most of their junior football with the Terrace Magpies, had been linked with a switch to the Canterbury Bulldogs for the 2016 season.
However, after a split with manager Chris Haddad, the Terrace juniors last Thursday put pen to paper to remain in the Knights colours.
Born in Sydney, the Mata'utia family - mum and five children under the age of 12 including older brother Peter (now with the Dragons) - moved to Raymond Terrace.
The four siblings played most of their junior years with the Terrace Magpies, making a huge impact on the field from a very young age.
The boys said the grounding at Raymond Terrace, along with keeping the family unit together, was a major factor in their decision to stay.
"Mum didn't want to leave Newcastle and being together as a family is important to us," said 18-year-old Sione, who became Australia's youngest ever test player last year.
Chanel, 22, made his NRL debut on the wing late season and 21-year-old Pat, a centre, is a valued member of the NSW Cup team.
