Crash barrier by dam surely isn't necessary
COULD somebody please enlighten me to the purpose of the Armco crash barrier and mesh fence between the bike path and Grahamstown Dam on the corner of Richardson Road and Grahamstown Road.

I really wouldn't think that either push bikes or sailing boats are ever going to get up enough speed to get through the mesh fence, let alone the Armco crash rail behind it.
Kinda looks like overkill to me.
