Royal Commission: NSW Children's Guardian lacks data on sex abuse of children in care

The government agency responsible for promoting the welfare of vulnerable young people in NSW does not have basic data about how often these children are being sexually abused, even though this information is held by the Ombudsman, the Royal Commission has heard.
