Her acumen and determination have seen her win AusMumpreneur business awards and now she will serve as judge for the event.
"I started my own business at the age of 21, it wasn't easy and there have been many learning curves along the way," the multi-award winning Mrs McGann said.
"Today I operate two businesses - Blush Brides, a mobile hair and make-up service, and Wedding Entrepreneurs Academy, a global training organisation for those wanting to build wedding businesses."
With a supportive husband - Gerard McGannis the CEO of a plumbing business - and four children aged eight months to nine years - Mrs McGann believes finding the right family and business balance is the secret to success.
"Having previously won the award I am now honoured to be a judge," she said.
"The awards are about showcasing the best and brightest mums in business Australia wide and I want to encourage Port Stephens mums in business to enter and get a better understanding of the support network that is available."
The awards, to be announced in Melbourne in September, are run by an organisation called Connect2mums.
To nominate go to ausmumpreneur.com. Nominations close on July 20.
