EXPERT advice on jewellery making and quilting techniques will be available to the Port's crafty and creative fraternity at this year's Stitches and Craft Show.

The annual show will hit Newcastle Entertainment Centre at Broadmeadow August 13 to 16.
This year's show will include expert retailers, hands-on classes, displays of textile art, educational workshops, the latest products, guest artist displays and DIY ideas.
Attendees can learn from the experts through a range of tutorials and workshops on offer including jewellery making, quilting techniques, sewing, scrapbooking, card making and embroidery.
The shows will also feature drop-in style education zones with classes for the novice crafter to those looking for an update on the latest techniques and products.
Guest artists Fiona Hammond and Christine Donehue will showcase their work and discuss the latest techniques for beading, textile art and paper quilling at their display areas.
One day passes, available from stitchesandcraft.net.au, start at $15 for adults, $14 for Seniors Card holders, $13 for age and disability pensioners and $7 for children aged five to 16.
Two-day, three-day and multi passes are also available from the website.
