The idea of holding a regular, free event on the Tilligerry Peninsula that would bring the community together, showcase home grown talent and use the Henderson Park stage was how Lemon Jam was born in 2012.
Lemon Jam is held in Henderson Park, Lemon Tree Passage, on the fourth Sunday of each month between noon and 4pm.
It gives musicians a chance to perform, while giving families an opportunity to enjoy the park with friends, neighbours and members of the community.
The September 27 Lemon Jam would be an "unplugged" event.
Amateur performers were being given the opportunity to perform a half hour set to a live audience.
Whether it's originals or covers, the organisers don't mind - but remember Lemon Jam is family-friendly.
