The incoming president Chris Selkirk said he was proud to have been elected by his peers. He replaces Steve Tucker.
"We will hit the ground running. We have reviewed our performance at the state election and moves are already under way to improve that result to ensure the Liberal Party wins the seat of Port Stephens in 2019," Mr Selkirk said.
"Our priorities will be to increase membership of all ages and improve our connection with the community. We will regularly be meeting the community to listen to their concerns."
