The Raymond Terrace-based unit will host an open day on March 12, from 10am to 2pm, and is seeking people interested in selling wares from their car boots during the event.
“It’s going to be a family fun day,” Pam Sharp, Port Stephens SES community engagement officer, said.
“It’s a way for us to keep in contact with the residents of Raymond Terrace and to let them know what we’re doing.
“Plus, they can have a look around the unit and see the boats and trucks.
“It’s just a bit of fun.”
SES members will be doing demonstrations, there will be jumping castles, face-painting, foot races and prizes up for grabs.
There is no cost to have a car boot stall at the open day.
“The only thing you pay for is what food and drinks you have on the day,” Ms Sharp said.
Contact Pam Sharp on 0437 231 688 to register for a space.
Port Stephens SES unit is located at 31 Rees James Road, Raymond Terrace.
