The release of the image this week comes as part of a renewed push for witnesses to the incident, where a naked man approached a 15-year-old girl and later committed a lewd act, to come forward.
A man, naked except for a black baseball cap, approached a 15-year-old girl at a secluded Boat Harbour Beach about 2.30pm on January 21.
The girl, who had been at the beach with a female friend the same age as her, went for a swim.
A short time later she got out of the water onto the rocks, when the naked man approached her.
The man sat down beside her, before the friend approached them and he walked away.
As the girls left the area they saw the man committing a lewd act.
The pair walked home and informed one of their fathers, who contacted police.
Port police officers attended and patrolled the area but could not locate the man.
The man depicted in the image is of Caucasian appearance, aged between 50 and 60, with grey hair, solid build and wearing a black baseball cap.
Anyone with information or witnessed the incident is urged to phone Raymond Terrace Police Station on 4983 7599 or Crime Stoppers on 1300 333 000.
