Destination Port Stephens and the Love Port Stephens Wedding Group will launch a 60 page magazine to more than 3000 people on Saturday and Sunday at a Sydney bridal expo.
Five representatives from the Port Stephens wedding industry will support that effort at the One Fine Day Wedding Fair in Sydney.
A range of weekend getaway specials are part of the ‘Fall in Love with Port Stephens’ campaign to help seal the deal between now and Easter.
Rebecca Morley from Destination Port Stephens hoped the initiative might rekindle people’s love of the region and launch a few new arrows for the shy.
“With the peak summer crowds in our wake, now is the perfect time for couples to enjoy a romantic rendezvous in Port Stephens,” Ms Morley said.
“As our campaign shows, many repeat visitors treat Port Stephens as an old flame, with a long-term romance established over several decades while others are meeting Port Stephens for the first time but quickly fall head over heals with our abundant natural scenery, wildlife and feeling of escape.
“And for couples who want to spend their big day in the area, our beautiful new ‘Love Port Stephens Weddings’ magazine showcases all the great ways they can get married and celebrate their nuptials in the region, from proposals and bucks and hens parties, all the way to the ceremony, reception and honeymoon.”
‘Fall in Love with Port Stephens’ builds on the year round ‘PS I Love You’ campaign.
