The meetings will be the first of regular community update sessions which will be held roughly every six months, to keep the community informed about the merger implementation and how the new council is developing.
“From the beginning, we are making our community a priority - the people who live, work and play in our region are at the core of who we are and what we do,” said Glenn Handford.
“It's important to us that everyone has an opportunity to attend, which is why we'll be holding ten meetings right across the MidCoast Council region - from Gloucester to Old Bar and from Harrington to Tea Gardens.
“The meetings are a two-way communication process. They give us a chance to outline the change management being undertaken at Council so people are fully informed, and it gives you the opportunity to provide us with valuable feedback on what you would like to see in your Council,” said Mr Handford.
The meetings will be held at:
20 June 5.30pm Gloucester Senior Citizens Centre
21 June 6pm Tea Gardens Baptist Church
23 June 6pm Stroud School of Arts
