All six beers the Bobs Farm-based brewery entered into this year’s Craft Beer Industry Association awards won either a gold, silver or bronze medal.
The brewery’s Thunderbolt IPA, only released this month as part of the brewery’s American Beer Month, took out the top award – “champion IPA”.
“We have a passion for IPA’s, and this is the ultimate accolade from the craft beer industry so far,” brewer Alex Turner said.
“Thunderbolt is the hoppiest IPA we’ve brewed so far.
“I’m also proud to say it appears we medalled for all beers entered.”
Award winners were announced in Brisbane on Thursday night, in front of 300 person strong audience.
From 600 entries, submitted from breweries across Australia, Murray’s Brewery won gold for its Fred IPA and Thunderbolt IPA.
Murray’s Angry Man Pale ale and Hell of the North Belgian ale won silver while the Black Bear IPA and Wild Thing Coffee Imperial Stout won bronze.
The 2016 awards follow on from last year’s success at the same event where Murray's Angry Man Pale ale won gold, its Wild Thing Imperial Stout a silver and the Fred IPA and Moon Boy Golden Ale bronze medals.
