Irrawang High School’s Spring Fair is on Saturday, September 3, with raffles, rides, market stalls, great food and show bags. Located on Mount Hall Road Raymond Terrace the fair is the first for many years.

Two major raffles will be running, one featuring a Thermo Mix valued at $2089. With only 200 tickets on sale at $20 each, you have to be in it to win it.
The other big raffle has eight major prizes including: 1st prize – from Capture Imaging – a family shoot incl a 24 x 16' photo valued at $730; 2nd prize – donated by Soldiers Point Marina – 2 nights accommodation at horizons Golf resort; and 3rd Prize – an original Margaret Hughes painting of Flannel Flowers

The Rotary Club of Raymond Terrace will be operating a chocolate wheel with lots of great prizes on offer courtesy of generous sponsors. The Lions Club of Raymond will be manning the sausage sizzle and students and staff will provide Devonshire Tea throughout the day. Other food will also be available.
“There will be lots of rides, markets stalls, showbags, and the fire brigade and SES will be doing demonstrations throughout the day,” spring fair spokesperson Lue Fagan said.
Hamish the two-year-old Llama is also coming along for the day. He is a well known Maitland identity with his own Facebook page and also makes special public appearances.
There will also be a farmyard nursery with miniature goats, ducklings, lambs and other baby animals.
“It’s also a chance to see the great facilities at Irrawang High School like the Primary Industries Trade Training Centre.
“We call it the school farm – it’s got lots of animals and vegetables, a hothouse, state-of-the-art equipment including modern tractors and farm equipment.”
As well as raising money towards the air conditioning of the school hall, the fair also provides the opportunity for locals and visitors to come along and visit the school.
The rides will be located in the farm area, while the food and market stalls, will be located in the school quad.
So come along and join in all the fun of the fair between 10am and 3pm on September 3 at Irrawang High School, 80 Mount Hall Road, Raymond Terrace.
All money raised will go towards air conditioning the Irrawang High School hall so please support this great community cause.
